The MYAN NSW partners with a number of organisations in the youth and settlement sectors to deliver education and training as well as provide sector development through forums and information resources.

MYAN NSW and the GWS Giants

In 2014, the hosting of MYAN NSW moved to the GWS Giants Learning Life Centre at Sydney Olympic Park. The move marked the strong commitment by the Giants to support and engage young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds from Greater Western Sydney and throughout NSW. We will be working together on a range of events and activities that help to meet the needs of young people, including activites that focus on the use of sport as a positive engagement tool for young people.

Working together

MYAN NSW is funded by DSS, through the MYAN Australia. MYAN NSW recently became an independent organisation, supported by an MOU between the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) in Victoria, and GWS Giants AFL team.

MYAN NSW is supported by a Board including members of these organisations, and from STARTTS, St George Youth Service and Marricville City Council.
