Rana Ebrahimi is the National Manager at MYAN. She leads MYAN to advocate for young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds’ rights and best interests in policy and practice.
Rana is an expert in social inclusion and humanitarian ethics. She is the first Iranian woman to be a National Head of Office for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Iran. Rana is also the President of Equal Employment Opportunity Network, Diversity Equity and Inclusion Chair of Rotary District 9800.
Over the course of a substantial career, Rana’s professional practice has grown to include building business strategies, setting the organisational vision, and leading mission-critical initiatives. Whether providing consultative and advisory services or leading functions within complex global and national organisations, she leads teams to deliver on key directives to grow and diversify. An expert in social inclusion and humanitarian ethics, Rana has headed strategic engagements to partners and build a shared vision with networks of stakeholders, funders and community groups to deliver transformative community and social development projects.
