Have your say about young people in the Global Compact on Refugees

We are making contact with you because you were involved in the 2016 Global Refugee Youth Consultations or are interested in international advocacy work on young refugees and asylum seekers.
This is an exciting opportunity to share your views about young refugees in the Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) - by doing a short, simple survey.
What is the Global Compact on Refugees (GCR)?
Over the last year, all the countries of the world have been working to develop a better and more fair approach to hosting refugees. The states that are hosting refugees together with UNHCR are writing a document called the Global Compact for Refugees (GCR), which explains this new and hopefully improved approach to working with refugees.Global policy makers will be meeting in Geneva in May to discuss the GCR and to revise the current draft based on feedback that they receive.
Why do we want to hear from you?
It is important for refugees themselves to have a voice in the formulation of the GCR - especially young people, whose voices are often not heard by policy makers. We want to make sure you have a chance to contribute to a historic event - the development of the GCR.
How will my ideas get to Geneva?

Complete the survey and Arash will collate the information. Arash is part of UNHCR's Global Youth Advisory Council (GYAC). The GYAC was formed out of the Global Refugee Youth Consultations (GRYC) and all GYAC members are consulting with young people in their own communities around the world. Arash will be travelling to Geneva in May to meet with UNHCR and States. Along with other GYAC members, he will be sharing your views about young refugees in the GCR with these global policy makers.
The survey is short and easy and should take about 15 mins.
