 Inquiry into the extent and nature of poverty in Australia

Online Consultation

MYAN is preparing a submission into the inquiry into the extent and nature of poverty in Australia. We would like to include the reflections and perspectives of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds from across Australia to inform the submission.

The consultation will take place on Tuesday 22 November, 7pm - 8.30pm (AEDT/Melbourne time) online via Zoom.
Participants will be reimbursed a $30 e-gift card for their time. 
 

Participant eligibility:

  • Aged 30 or under
  • From a refugee/migrant background (including second generation, international students, asylum seekers etc.)
  • Share your thoughts or experiences of poverty in Australia and/or Centrelink support (whether it be lived experience, friends, family, peers etc).
