MY Australia Multicultural Youth Census

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
Take part in vital research in the first ever multicultural youth census!

The MY Australia multicultural youth census is the first national study seeking to understand more about the needs, values and future aspirations of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

Twenty-five per cent of young people in Australia come from refugee and migrant backgrounds but little is known about their lives. My Australia wants to hear from people aged 15-25 to better understand the advantages and challenges multicultural young people face today.

My Australia is a national research partnership between MYAN, The University of Melbourne and nine other organisations across Australia.

MY Australia Youth Census is now open!

The MY Australia Census is open to young people from multicultural backgrounds, aged between 15 to 25 years, who live in Australia. The census is an online survey that takes 20 minutes to complete.

You can also email us for a Survey Information Pack.

If you're a multicultural young person, take the survey and spread the word!

Survey closes on 15 October 2017

TAKE THE SURVEY

MY Australia is the first longitudinal, nation-wide study of Australia’s multicultural youth. Quantitative and qualitative data from the MY Australia project will be used to develop an annual report on the status of multicultural youth in Australia.

This vital research will be used to help policymakers and organisations who work with young, diverse people to develop better policies and programs, enrich the lives of multicultural youth and contribute to the social cohesion of Australian society.

This is the first opportunity to give multicultural young people a voice in policy development at a national level.
