MYAN is convening regular national sector meetings to highlight the impact of COVID-19 on young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, and identify good practice and innovative solutions.

This third sector meeting will be structured around breakout room discussions exploring specific themes.

MYAN continues to work to ensure that the safety, rights, and interests of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds are protected and upheld in the COVID-19 public health crisis. Through our regular engagement with young people and the sector across Australia, MYAN continues to hear about the impact of COVID-19 on young people, as well as all the good practice and innovative solutions that services and young people are implementing to mitigate disruptions and stressors for young people caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

These breakout rooms will be confirmed during the week based on your responses.

Each breakout room will enable targeted discussion on newly emerging issues/concerns and best practice, along with opportunities for peer to peer connection and support outside the meeting.
