You are receiving this because MYAN Australia would like to keep you in the loop with updates, opportunities, events and to connect a community of young people.
We have your details from your previous connections to MYAN via your:
application for and participation in FUSE National Multicultural Youth Summit in 2014 or 2016,
contribution to the Global Youth Refugee Consultations (GRYC),
application to be part of the Youth Ambassadors Network (YAN),
application for our scholarship opportunities or
engagement with an event, email or through other ways...
...whichever the case, we are so glad that you connected with MYAN and would love to continue that relationship!
To do this, MYAN has created a Facebook group for the primary purpose of connecting directly with you and fostering an open, welcoming space where you can connect with each other.
Through the group, MYAN will also share with you different leadership and advocacy opportunities within and outside of the organisation nationally and internationally! But of course before any of this can be possible, you will need to join the group!
If you don't remember what MYAN Australia does, here's a bit of a recap:
Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network (MYAN) works in partnership with young people, government and the non-government sectors to promote the rights and interests of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
MYAN undertakes a range of policy, advocacy and sector development activities to achieve this and also supports the development of young people’s leadership skills. MYAN’s vision is that all young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds can access the support and opportunities they need to be active citizens in Australian society. More information on MYAN's work can be found on our website.
We look forward to seeing you using, connecting and participating in this new online space!
