FUSE 2023

FUSE 2023, themed “Connect, Ignite, and Trailblaze,” was a pivotal event held in Canberra, bringing together emerging young leaders from refugee and migrant backgrounds across Australia. The conference aimed to empower participants by enhancing their advocacy skills, fostering networks, and providing a platform to engage directly with policymakers. With workshops focused on effective pitching, media training, and parliamentary engagement, delegates developed innovative solutions to critical challenges facing their communities. The event facilitated direct conversations with parliamentarians, allowing young leaders to advocate for their needs and aspirations, ultimately highlighting the vital contributions of youth in shaping inclusive policies and a more equitable society.
