Australia’s Privacy Commissioner is beginning to draft some rules for online platforms, like social media, games and streaming companies, about how they can or can’t use children and young people’s data (considered to be those under the age of 18). These questions aim to gather your thoughts and opinions about this, and there are no right or wrong answers, it’s just what you think. Any answers you provide may be written up into a research report that goes on the internet, and shared with the Privacy Commissioner to help them write the Code, but no information about you will be shared.

This survey is being organised by Reset.Tech Australia, a not for profit organisation and MYAN. You can see their privacy policy here.

Australian Institute of Family Studies

The IVY Study is an Australian response that aims to build understanding of young people’s use of and/or experience of intimate partner violence (IPV) and how services and agencies across Australia are responding to young people. If you engage professionally with young people in any capacity—whether through intake, referral, or other means — we want to hear from you! Your contribution will help improve future service delivery and responses on this important matter. You do not need to be a youth-specific organisation or service to participate.
