Youth Network

Summary

Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network Australia (MYAN) is proud to engage a dynamic Youth Advisory Group (YAG) to support our health-focused initiatives. Comprising 10 passionate young leaders from every state and territory in Australia, the YAG is currently driving two important projects: the Cancer Screening Project and the Vaping Project. Both projects aim to improve health outcomes in multicultural communities across the country.

The YAG’s work includes hosting community information sessions, crafting tailored social media campaigns, forming media partnerships with ethnic radio and news outlets, and collaborating with other organizations on community events to raise awareness. The YAG also provides direct feedback to the Department of Health on effective communication strategies with multicultural communities.
