MYAN National Youth Conference 2023

MYAN is proud to host 2023 National Multicultural Youth Conference “Navigating Journeys, Empowering Voices”, bringing together a diverse range of young people, service providers, and government and community leaders from across the country.

MYAN’s Conference 2023 will be held in Canberra across two days, 27 & 28 November. Where it will provide a platform for meaningful conversations and collaborative solutions to support the successful settlement and active participation of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

Day 1 – Reception Night

Hotel Realm National
27th November 6:00 – 8:30 pm

Co-hosted by MYAN and The Social Policy Group, the reception is a night of celebration to kick off our National Multicultural Youth Conference. This is an exciting opportunity to network and share knowledge and ideas, and a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations who share your passion for creating a more inclusive, equitable, and welcoming Australia for all young people.

Day 2 – Conference

Old Parliament House
28th November 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Through a variety of keynotes, panels and networking opportunities, the conference is an important way to gain knowledge and insights from a broad range of sector experts, including young people themselves.

The conference is also an opportunity to build strong partnerships and collaborations that will drive positive change in the youth and settlement sectors, and help government officials, community organisations, and service providers better understand the unique and diverse experiences of multicultural youth, including those more recently arrived in Australia.
